Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store plaintext passwords.
Endpoint Data: We store the API endpoint URLs, headers, and response schemas you configure for monitoring. Response data is used only for schema comparison and is not shared with third parties.
Waitlist: If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address solely to notify you about product availability.
Contact Form: If you contact us, we collect your name, email, and message content to respond to your inquiry.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the FlareCanary service
- To send you alerts about detected schema drift on your monitored endpoints
- To respond to support inquiries
- To send product updates (you can opt out at any time)
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Neon (PostgreSQL) and served via Vercel. All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
- Neon — database hosting
- Resend — email delivery for alerts and contact form
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@flarecanary.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Cookies
FlareCanary uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use analytics cookies or third-party tracking.
